Demitasse Cup and Saucer

Virginia Gardens pattern by Frederik Lunning designed by E. Challinor and manufactured in the USA featuring a vibrant hand-painted floral arrangement of pink, yellow and small blue blossoms on an ivory ceramic ground. It is framed by a sage green band and finished with a delicate gold trim round the rims. 

Produced in 1937, this collection was commissioned by Frederik Lunning, Inc. (The renowned distributor behind New York's Georg Jensen store). The porcelain bases were crafted in the USA b y high-end manufacturers like Pickard China to feature Challinor's artwork.
